Forbes Financial Group Opens New Headquarters in Carbondale
Community Open House & Ribbon Cutting Set for Nov. 19

Spacious local office will showcase local artists, host community gatherings, and celebrate 20 years as an independent advisory firm.

Carbondale, IL — October 27, 2025 — Forbes Financial Group announced today the grand opening of its new headquarters in Carbondale and invited the community to an open house on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with an official ribbon cutting at Noon..

"We absolutely loved our old building," said John Forbes, founder and principal of Forbes Financial Group. "But ideas can sometimes get boxed in just by the physical nature of where you are. We had maxed out our space. This new building lets us put the thinking cap on again and ask, 'What would the ultimate client experience look like?'"

Designed to spark collaboration and possibility, the new Forbes building will serve not only clients but also the broader Southern Illinois community. "We want everybody to stop in and visit," Forbes added. "I envision this being a space where we have local artists on display and where community groups can hold vision nights or board meetings… a true 'what-if' space for Carbondale."

During the open house, guests can tour the building, meet the Forbes Financial team, and learn how the expanded space supports an evolving client experience. As the firm looks ahead, Forbes says the added room unlocks new ideas, from curating more client events to exploring expanded services and partnerships. "At the end of the day, we want to help take the fear away from finances," Forbes said.
